Introduction
We operate the website https://decisionme.com/ (the “Website”), as well as the DecisionMe App (the “App”). In the course of promoting and operating our business, we collect certain types of personal information via our Website and through our App as described in this Privacy Policy.
We understand that you are aware of and care about your own personal privacy interests, and we take that seriously. This Privacy Policy describes the Company’s policies and practices regarding its collection and use of your personal data and sets forth your privacy rights. We recognize that information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, and so we will from time to time update this Privacy Policy as we undertake new personal data practices or adopt new privacy policies.

The Company collects personal information about our Website, visitors and customers. With a few exceptions, this information is generally limited to:

How do you use my data?
- To manage your access to and use of our Website and App. Such as when you create and log into your account on our Appwe will collect your name, email address, and phone number, (if applicable). We collect this data in order allow you to access our Website and App, as this is in our mutual legitimate interest.
- To manage customers’ opinions of our App and the services we provide. We may collect your opinion of our service and details about how you have used our service and our App. We collect this data as it is in our legitimate interest to improve our services and product offerings.
- To carry out customer management, including subscriptions and follow-ups. We, or our authorized third-party payment processors, like Stripe.com, will collect your name, email address, phone number, address, company name and address (if applicable) and your payment details. We, or our third-party partners, collect this data as it is in our legitimate interest to manage our customer relationships.
- To send you marketing information. Where you have previously expressed an interest in our products or services (and not opted-out of marketing) we will use your name and email address to send you updates because it is in our legitimate interests to promote our other products and services that we think you might be interested in.
If you are a new customer and have opted in via our Website to receive updates on our products and services including offers, promotions and new options, we will process your personal data to provide you these updates in line with the preferences you have provided and will only use your personal data in this way with your consent.

- When you contact us either by phone, email, via our ‘contact us’ page, we will usually collect your name and contact details, because it’s in our legitimate interest to make sure we can properly respond to your query.
- When you use our Website and consent to our use of cookies, we will collect information about how you use our Website. The Company has a legitimate interest in understanding how visitors, customers and potential customers use our Website. This assists us with providing more relevant products and services, with communicating value to our sponsors and corporate partners, and with providing appropriate staffing to meet customer needs. We may also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Website, analyse trends, track visitor movements, and gather broad demographic information that assists us in identifying visitor preferences. - When you attend one of our events or a third-party event we also attend (including virtual events via video conferencing providers), we will usually collect your name, address, email address and phone number. We collect this personal data because it’s in our legitimate interests to promote our business and to know who is attending our events.
- If our business is sold. We process your personal data for this purpose because we have a legitimate interest to ensure our business can be continued by the buyer. If you object to our use of your personal data in this way, the buyer of our business may not be able to provide services to you.
Cookies
The Company may use cookies to record log data. We use both session-based and persistent cookies. Cookies are small text files sent by us to your computer and from your computer or mobile device to us each time you visit our Website. They are unique to your account or your browser. Session-based cookies last only while your browser is open and are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Artificial Intelligence
We do not use any personal data we collect from our customers for the purposes of training our AI model; and we do not share or sell any customer personal data that we receive as a processor for the purposes of training our AI model.
Who do you share my data with?
- Business partners, suppliers and subcontractors who we engage to assist us with the performance of the contract we enter into with them or you.
- Prospective customers and the general public. We may provide general statistics about the use of our services, our App and Website to prospective customers and the general public. These statistics will not identify a particular individual or company, unless we have previously agreed with them that these details may be shared. We share these statistics as it is in our legitimate interests to promote our business.
- Promotional events and marketing organisations, we do not sell data for marketing purposes but may share your data with an event organiser or collaboration brand including where we run workshops with co-presenters and offer a promotion alongside a partner brand. We will always tell you before (usually on the event registration form) and you will be given the chance to opt-out before we do this.
- Regulators/ Authorities/ Enforcement Agencies if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any regulatory or legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements; or to protect our, our customers’ and others’ rights. This includes exchanging your personal data with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection.
- Prospective buyers of our business under our legitimate interest to ensure our business can be continued by the buyer.
- Third party social media services such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and others to connect and promote our business, App, products and services. If you choose to share information from our Website through these services, you should review the privacy policy of that service. If you are a member of a third party service, the aforementioned connections may allow that service to connect your visit to our Website to your personal data.
Where do you store my data?
We store your data on third party servers which are based in the United States. When working with third parties we may need to transfer your personal data outside of the US.
Whenever we transfer your personal data outside of the US, we ensure it receives additional protection as required by law. How long do you keep my data for?
We will only retain your personal data for as long as we need it to provide our services to you, including the use of the App, unless we are required to keep it for longer to comply with our legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements.
In some circumstances we may carefully anonymise your personal data so that it can no longer be associated with you, and we may use this anonymised information indefinitely without notifying you. We use this anonymised information to improve the way we work and our services.
What are my rights under data protection law?

Children’s data

Before we comply with any request from you, we may ask for information, documents, or other evidence from you to confirm your identity. We do not ask for evidence of your identity to prevent you from exercising your rights, however if you are unable to provide us with the evidence, we require we may be unable to comply with your request.
